The original X-Cell swash plate anti rotation device consisted of an arm bolted to the upper side frames with a link trailing back to the swash plate. This method injected a small amount of swash plate rotation as the collective was increased or decreased. To correct this X-Cell introduced the slotted anti-rotation guide which mounted behind the swash plate. Three versions of this style were produced. The stamped aluminum unit which came with a bracket to mount it to any X-Cell. The CNC unit which bolted to the rear of the upper bearing block. This unit required the machined upper thrust-bearing block. A molded unit (not shown) which sat between the upper frames, behind the swash plate. This unit required that two holes be drilled in the frames for mounting. |
