KKK Stunt Homer (198#)
Forth and final model, reasonably well made with a machined and encased transmission including an autorotation capability. An engine driven fan was not used and instead replaced by a belt driven fan; being much more efficient and gave better cooling.
The name 'Stunt' homer was something of a 'misnomer' and though it was lighter than the earlier models it was still relatively, comparatively heavy and it could now be stopped reasonably quickly without falling like a brick. Flying reports of the time indicated the tail was not up to the job and hunted, from the photos below the blades look to be much too small for the main rotor blade size which would explain the problem.
