Original elevator linkage - non pull/pull

The original X-Cell collective and elevator linkage was driven directly off of the servo arm. This design placed all the feedback load directly on the servo.

The design was altered to use an intermediate arm which was attached to the servo using a pull/pull arrangement.  The intermediate arm was ball bearing supported. The arm of the original pull/pull assembly was metal.

In 1998 the metal arm was replaced with a composite plastic unit which provided essentially the same  function. The plastic assembly included a servo wheel which attached to the manufactures servo wheel and insured the correct geometry between the output wheel and the intermediate arm.
