Quick Sweet 16EP (2004)

Uprated version of the 10EP and as such available in both De-luxe and Standard version with same difference as the EP 10 and additionally De-luxe with Carbon boom supports and Standard with Fibreglass supports.  However, whereas the EP 10 was the electric version of the Quickie 15/18, the 16 EP was now nearer a '30' size and designed for main blades of 530 to 580mm, 72 to 80mm tail blades along with a 8mm main shaft and a total of 20 degrees pitch movement thus allowing for all the 3D manoeuvres being carried out at the time.  The power plant was now significantly larger for Brushless motor with 16-24 Sub-C cells nicad/NiMH or 8-10 cell Lipo; the following table lists the recommended power combinations at the time of introduction along with remarks of the suitable flying style.

 Introduction price of the Sweet 16 EP was £299 for the standard kit and $399 for the De-luxe.

If hard use was expected then it was recommended to fit the Quick heat sink for the Aveox motor.

Quick Sweet 16EP V2 (2005)

For 2005 the Sweet 16 came out as the V2 version and inline with the EP10 the power train recommendations were reduced to just two with the high voltage and 'learner' setups removed.  This was a fundamental redesign with a completely different frame layout with the basic layout common with the revised EP10 model now called the little Sweetie 10.

The model names also changed with the designation De-luxe and Standard being replaced with Pro and Sport so as to align the naming convention with the rest of the range; additionally, after introduction of the Sweet 16V2 priced at Pro $500 and Sport $375, conversions kits were made available so that owners of the original version could upgrade to the equivalent Sweet 16V2; costs for this were Pro at $150 and Sport $110.
