Introduced in 1989, the Legend was the last .60 sized helicopter produced by GMP. While still heavily based on the same Hirobo Falcon-based mechanicals as the Competitor and Cobra, the Legend offered several intriguing new features.
Mr. Gorham and the Legend
The Legend came with a new belt drive system for the tail rotor, and could be ordered with a number of different main rotor heads; namely the normal tried and true Hirobo "custom rotorhead", the competitor "pro" rotorhead, flybarless rotorhead, or the "elite" underslung rotorhead.
