The GMP Hughes 300C was a variant of the company's famous Cricket helicopter designed as a semi-scale model of the famous Schweitzer / Hughes 300C full-sized helicopter. This helicopter was a little larger than the Cricket, and included a complete detailed plastic molded interior. This heli was sold by GMP as both a complete kit, or as a conversion kit for existing Cricket owners.

A 25-year old surviving example of the very rare GMP Hughes 300C

The Hughes 300C is today the rarest and most collectible production GMP Helicopter. There is one hanging from the ceiling of the AMA Museum in Muncie, Indiana. This model, and the parts for it not shared by the Cricket are nearly impossible to find today. It is estimated that there exist only a few dozen complete examples of this model helicopter today.
