Vintage RC Helicopters - Workshop How to - Radio & Setup
Radio gear and setup of aeroplanes was generally quite simple and as long as a control surface moved in the right direction and didn't fall off then all was well. However, helicopters required greater precision in the fitting of the radio gear and setting up the multitude of different controls to work in harmony; or even to just work at all......... This section covers the different aspects of Model Helicopter radio installation and setting up. Note that these are historic documents and show procedures and techniques applicable at the time of printing; some are still valid whilst some have been amended many times through the years. They are very useful when setting up a vintage helicopter to perform as it would when first built.........
