Vintage RC Helicopters - Workshop How to - Flying
Radio controlled helicopter are quite unique in their flying characteristics and in 1971 there was only one man who could fly one and at that time even Dieter Schlüter would not have professed to be 'good' at it. So everybody had to learn in order to pass on the sometimes 'painfully' learnt lessons and some of the early recommendation caused more trouble than they helped.!!!!! This section will cover how the recommendations and procedures changed through the years with respect to learning and becoming more proficient in RC helicopter flying.
