Vintage RC Helicopters - Du-bro Shark

Du-Bro Shark

Du-Bro Shark (1974)

Presented at the 74 Toledo show it was originally designed with fixed pitch control for the OR petrol engine; given the 'look' of the Enstrom F-28.  Note that Du-Bro later made a 'proper' scale version of the Enstrom but with the Tristar mechanics.

Shark Review  -  1976 fixed pitch version.

Du-Bro Shark 60 (1976)

The Shark was updated to use 60 size glow engines and further modified for collective pitch control with an aerofoil flybar instead of the 'can' version.  Note that the aerofoil flybar was also retro fitted to many models as it proved a better control system than the 'cans'.
