Vintage RC Helicopters - Kalt Cobra 450

KALT Cobra

Kalt Cobra 450

The Cobra 450 was Kalt's first helicopter and an 'official' copy of Schluter's Cobra though slightly small and for the Enya 45BB which was included in the kit.  The rotor head was a direct copy of the free teetering Schluter head however, later models employed the non-teetering type similar to the MM Lark.

Kalt Cobra 500

By the end of the 70's, fixed pitch control had been assigned to 'trainers' and thus the Cobra was treated to an upgrade by fitting Kalt's collective pitch head giving it a further lease of life; this model was defined as the Cobra 500 with the recommended engine being the OS 50H.

Kalt Cobra upgraded with later version collective head.
