Vintage RC Helicopters - Hirobo Hovermate

HIROBO Hovermate PF32

A basic trainer who's main function was (as the title suggests) to make hovering and slow flight as easy as possible.  It was marketed as a 'complete' package as the engine was fitted with a hand 'recoil' starter and so did not need a large battery and electric starter.  The idea was to learn how to hover and carry out limited manoeuvring then, as the chassis was basic shuttle anyway, upgrade with shuttle spares to a more 'normal' helicopter for the next step in learning.

Didn't really catch on because the basic shuttle was so easy to use anyway and therefore would appear to not have been a successful venture as this is the only instance of the Hovermate I have so far found.
