Joe's Collection - Robbe   Joe William Richardson

Robbe Robinson R22

Bought in Feb 07 and is a scale body fitted to 'Mosquito' mechanics.  Has the flight characteristics of a trainer which is ideal as an R22 which is in reality quite a low performance full size helicopter.  Excellent on a nice calm evening though if pushed can get up to quite a turn of speed such that slowing it down especially at low height can be quite interesting.

Robbe Eolo Pro

Bought from E-bay in Aug 07 and had all the upgrades.  Originally designed for NiCad/Nimh batteries so quite a large lipo can be fitted.  Does though result in a low CG and thus slows down cyclic response which makes it quite tame.  It will loop and roll though not particularly fast and on a couple of occasions I nearly ran out of height pulling a loop.

Robbe Hughes 300C

Purchased from E-bay in May 09 but on checking noted a slight head wobble so main mast to renew and new paint job required as canopy is badly damaged (new one with the purchase).

Robbe Spirit L-16

Bought in Apr 09 as an unfinished new build but no radio gear or motor fitted.

Robbe Futura sport

Purchased in Apr 09 but put straight into storage to await full check.

Robbe Futura SE

Bought Apr 09 as an incomplete restoration project though at about 70% complete it could be enough to make it viable.

Robbe Crown III

Bought Apr 11 with very little use.
