Gazaur Mars (2008)

Bought in Oct 08 because it looked very futuristic so I had to have one.  Came complete with motor and speed controller but had a vicious start and it seemed to be a problem with the motor; though once running works perfectly.  Managed to loose it into the lighting whilst flying indoors and damaged the tail; took quite a while to find where to get the parts.

After the repairs I flew it indoors and it was not until Mar 09 bid I fly it outside and found it was very much like a 'scale' helicopter in flying characteristics therefore not particularly comfortable in circuits due to having light paddles and a low flybar mix ratio.  Additionally head speed is very low and perhaps requires a better motor to give a higher head speed.

In Jan 11 I bought a replacement motor and fitted the required drive gear and now much better though perhaps needs even a little more head speed.
